Russell is going to look at techniques & tools that can help us to make our teaching and learning more student centered when teaching online. A highly practical talk which will cover both what the students do in the class and outside the class.<\/p>\n
Russell Stannard is the founder of\u00a0www.teachertrainingvideos.com<\/a>\u00a0an award winning website that offers free help videos for teachers who want to incorporate technology into their teaching and learning. He is a \u00a0NILE associate trainer and tutors on the MA programme. Russell was previously a Principal Teaching Fellow at the University of Warwick and the University of Westminster. He has received the Times Higher \u2018Outstanding Initiative in Technology\u2019, the British Council ELTons \u2018Innovation Award\u2019 and the University of Westminster \u2018Excellence in Teaching\u2019 award. He is truly an international speaker, having presented in 51 countries. He writes a regular columns in the English Teaching Professional.
